Prattville's Clark named All-Star Classic head coach
Prattville coach Bill Clark has been picked to lead the state’s top players in next summer’s Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Football Classic.
The 20th annual game will be June 2 in Mobile.
Clark led Prattville to the Class 6A championship and a perfect record this season. The Lions (15-0) beat Hoover 35-21 on Saturday in the 6A finals at Birmingham’s Legion Field.
Clark, who is 91-11 in eight years as Prattville’s head coach, was Alabama’s defensive coordinator in 2003 and 2005.
He has also coached twice in Alabama’s North-South All-Star Game. He was a defensive coordinator in the 1998 game and was head coach in 2004. The 2004 game featured juniors and was played in December.
